First, this does not apply to the 260 trans, only 265s. Like Tom says, there are 2 changes. First, there is a drive gear on the trans output shaft that is replaced by a spacer bushing on the M3 trans. Tranny fluid was leaking out the cap that covers the detent springs top left rear of transmission. So, when I took off the cap there were three springs in three separate recessed holes. The cap was holding them down against 3 little balls.
