3 posts · Joined 2015. #1 · Apr 7, 2015. Bought a used 04 Eiger 5 speed. Guy I got it from had it sit for 3 months. It would start but run rough and not idle. Tore carb down, cleaned it, cleaned jets, set floats, new gas. Put carb on and it fired up choke on and idled decent but stalled if you turned the choke off or touched the throttle!I just rebuilt an eiger 400. Replace the jug and cylinder head (dropped a valve through the piston). Got everything back together and started right up. Ran it for about 10 mins with no issues. Parked it over night and then put all of the plastic back on it and it would not run. Back fires ocassionally. Timing to me.
