Well, I had Professor Manning for 2930 and Ritz for Statics (well I actually had Puri, but they co-taught the class and I went to Ritz's office hour and Ritz also lectured my section like once or twice). Both experiences are very positive. So although I never had Ritz for 2930, I think you will be fine.
