Neither the fob nor the power lock switches will lock/unlock the driver's side sliding door. You can lock/unlock it manually and it does engage the locking mechanism and works like "normal". 2.Before doing anything to solve your problem you should just reset your door mechanisim. It should solve 99.99999 % of the sliding door problem. 1)Fully open the sliding door manually or electrically. 2)Removed the #13 fuse (clock) for at least 60 seconds,located under the dash on the right side near the door hing.
