It was a less-expensive alternative to the X-500 thanks ... I think the X-370 feels cheap and chintzy, so it was the X-500 for me. That being said, all these similar Minolta SLRs offer a good balance of features for prices that are below what similar vintage Nikon, Canon, and Pentax cameras cost. My X-500 cost about $60.
