A neighbor brought this 1995 Polaris Xplorer 400 4X4 over that had been sitting for a few years. the first thing I did was dismantle and completely clean the carb which had oil in it when i opened it up. It is a 1998. Yes on installing the piston correct. Arrow towards the exhaust. The cylinder was just bored and honed. This piston and rings are at new specs. I have 75 PSI when cranking and it went to 80 PSI after putting a few drops of oil in the cylinder. Thanks for confirming the pressure should be over 115 psi.
