Change that to around 500 to avoid some issues stated by some people in the comments section (I don't play ARK anymore so I can't confirm these errors but if you experience some whack stuff on high numbers you might want to try it out) Enjoy ARK with your friends without pesky tether distance.:D

Multiplayer launched from within the game itself is still limited by the tether distance. I think you can have even more than 2 player, but it is limited by the tether.
