I usually run a 12 tooth clutch with a 70 rear sprocket. Others run 11t clutch with 63-65 rear sprocket. Last race I went all the way down to a 64 rear sprocket ...This Predator head will have stock size stainless valves, 25mm intake and 24mm exhaust with automotive style split keepers. Those 10.8lbs. stock valve springs will be replaced with 26lb springs to control that valve float. And 1.3 ratio rockers to give us a bit more lift, and some mild cleanup of the ports.I got very similar results by putting a hotrodded (15+ hp.) 212cc in a kart too heavy for it. The real horsepower in it only appears at much higher rpm than the kart could get up to with its tall gearing. Only got 22 mph from a kart that was planned to go about 55 mph on a 12:60 ratio (1:5).

Predator has cast shaft, while the gx200 has a forged crank. Gx200 has 9 ft/lb torque, but only 5.5 hp. Predator has 8 ft/lb, but 6.5 hp. Basically a Honda or a Briggs will last longer at sustained high RPMs.Ducar 212 is a much better built, put together engine then the predator. Clearances are very similar to a honda right outta the box. Has a much better combo of parts, better flywheel, head, cam, rod, carb, air box, muffler, the block is reinforced.
