Indent line on frer.

She was extremely kind and told me this: They added those visible lines that pop up in the time frame to let the customer know that the test has functioned properly. The ink has gone over it and tested for HCG, and if a white/grey line or anything but pink, that's all it means. Unless there is pink colour in the line then read it as a negative. I used to watch them too and see the urine half settle in the strip..but if pregnant, the chemicals will stick to the line and there will be colour at the 10 min mark.

I took a FRER test yesterday (not expecting there to be anything) as I have PCOS and irregular periods. Is this a line? So the tricky thing with First Response is that it picks up such a low level of HCG (like 4 in clinical trials) that it’s basically impossible to say whether they’re indents or it’s picking up on attempts to implant etc that are so early they would normally go completely undetected.

Hi all, if you are wondering how prominent indent FRER's can be - feast your eyes on this bad boy. I know these days it's hard to tell the difference between a vfl and indent. This might help - indents will always be skinny and no colour. BC will probably chew the quality but this line is as clear as they come.First one is before I even pee on it. You can already see the indent line. It actually looks less noticeable on the 2nd pic. I can't trust FRER anymore. I'm only 7DPO so I'm super early. If one were to take an FRER and think they perhaps saw something but couldn't figure out if it's an indent or not… and one opened up the test and saw a definite line on the test strip… then it's definitely an indent, right?

It's a shadow of a line and sometimes I do think I see pink, but then I don't. I don't think the problem is with frer's, it's me! When you want something so bad, you start seeing optical illusions. The fact is of the matter is that if you don't see something reasonably clear within the timeframe - it's not there!Another indent/faint line. An indent is where a line would appear if it were positive, it's literally a shallow indent in the test where the dye would sit. Evaps appear after the window it should show a positive and they're generally grey not pink.
