That makes Waves of Fatigue/Exhaustion a particularly clutch spell when you're fighting barbarians (and skalds or bloodragers). The key with that tactic is that the caster has to go first. I don't think becoming fatigued or exhausted forces a barbarian to stop raging, so if they go before the caster, then it's too late.
