This is a common scam that many shoppers have fallen for, and it's possible that the scammer has used your account to scam customers. I hope things work out with getting your account and money back. This is a good reminder for shoppers to not text or call a customer outside of the app or to read a verification code to anyone over the phone.Instead, the shopper completed my order in a matter of seconds, added multiples of most items, raising my order total by well over $150, texted me saying he'd been in an accident and then never delivered my order. Instacart customer service, as usual, has offered 0 help, other than saying "we'll have someone call you in a few minutes".To make it even better they shaft all other shoppers for a solid 1-2 weeks to give priority to these new people of which 90% are gonna flake out within 2 months anyway. Instacart in my area says they'll guarantee $74 if you complete at least 4 batches today but most batches are doubles, triples and they only count a double or triple as 1 batch apparently. It's almost impossible to do 4 without making more then the $74. This promotion is pretty much worthless.
